Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Anything Goes!

I have made this card for the latest challenge at Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog which is 'anything goes!'. I have used a gorgeous stamp from Stampavie's Tina Wenke which is called "mouse with sunflower" and I have coloured him with copics. How cute is he with his big flower? :) I made the background swirl and the frame around my stamped image using my cricut machine. I have also used a Martha Stewart border punch and Spellbinders 'ribbon tag trio' for my sentiment; both of which can be purchased from Simon Says Stamp.

A Sweet Pea Christmas!

Christmas is not too far away now, so here is a Christmas card I have made. The gorgeous stamp is "Holly Fairy" from Sweet Pea Stamps and she is designed by Ching Chou Kuik. She is coloured in with copic markers (as always!) and copic spicas. I have embossed my Christmas sentiment with metallic silver embossing power and used silver metallic brads on the flower and on my stamped image. Sweet Pea Stamps has a new blog called 'In a Sweet Pea Dream' and the theme this fortnight is "all about Christmas" so I am entering this card into that challenge. I am also entering this into the fabulous 'Christmas Stampin' All Year Long' blog where the theme this week is 'something metallic'.

With Halloween being less than a week away now, here is another Halloween card I have made. I seem to be making a lot of spooky stuff lately! My lovely couple behind the spooky window is 'Frankie Frankenstein' and 'Ghost Willow' digis from the "Lil Haunts" range from Tickled Pink Stamps. I just love them! I cut the window out using my Cricut and 'October 31st' cartridge. I used jac paper (double sided sticky paper) and then covered it with loads of sparkly glitter! The cute owl is also cut out using Cricut and my 'Happy Hauntings' cartridge.

I am entering card into the following challenges:

Halloween Is Coming!

Halloween is just around the corner so I have made a spooky (but cute) Halloween card! I had so much fun making this, I got to use my Cricut, Hooked on Craft stamps, Cuttlebug, and loads of glitter! The card is a round easel-style card. For the spooky tree background of my card and the spiderweb base I used my Cricut and my 'Pumpkin Carving' cartridge. I cut out jac paper and then glittered it.

I am entering this card into the following awesome competitions:
- Kaboodle Doodles Challenge; 'Let's Go Batty!'. What a great theme for a Halloween challenge! I love spooky bats!
- The One Stop Craft Challenge Blog; 'Halloween'. Check out the design teams cards, they are awesome!

This gorgeous little bear is so cute and so is his friend the scarecrow!  He is from Hooked on Craft and you can purchase him here. I have coloured them in with my copic markers:

This cute little pumpkin is also from Hooked on Craft. He is actually part of a larger stamp, but I just cut out the cute the little pumpkin to use on my card. The whole stamp can be purchased here:

How cool is this moon? This moon and the bats are from 'October 31st' Cricut cartridge. I cut them out with jac paper and then used glitter to make them sparkly:

This is a cute little witch that I cut out using my Cricut and 'Happy Hauntings' cartridge. I used stickles on her hat and broomstick:

Here is the base of the card which I cut out using 'Pumpkin Carving' Cricut cartridge. The 'Happy Halloween' sign is from the 'Halloween Sign' Cuttlebug embossing and die set. I used a bit of sandpaper on it for added effect. The cute little spiders are from 'Doodlecharms' Cricut cartridge and they crawled all over my card and made themselves at home on my glittery web! Eeeeeekkkkkkk!:

Happy Halloween!

Halloween Treat Box!

Here is a cute little Halloween treat box that I made for The Cuttlebug Spot (theme is 'Halloween Treats') and Stamp Something ('Halloween Somethings'). I normally just make cards so this is something a little different and fun! I recently bought some new dies for my Cuttlebug so I had a bit of a play with them for this box. I used my Cricut machine and 'Tags, Bags, Boxes and More' cartridge to cut out the base of the box. The gorgeous stamps I have used are from Hooked on Craft and I have coloured them in with copics. I finished off my Halloween treat box with bling!

This cute little ghost is holding a toffee apple lolly and he can be purchased here. In the background I have used 'Gem Rox' Cuttlebug embossing folder:

For this side of my treat box I have used 'Halloween Sign' Cuttlebug die and embossing set. Once I embossed the sign I rubbed it a little with a sandpaper block to give it a bit of an 'aged' look. In the background I have used 'Forest Branches' Cuttlebug embossing folder:

On this side of my box I have a very cute little Halloween kitty and he is holding his own treat bag! He can be purchsed here. For the background I used 'Tiny Bubbles' Cuttlebug embossing folder:

On the last side of my box I have used two cute bats which are part of a Cuttlebug 'Disney Halloween' die cut and embossing set. I have also used 'Pumpkin Harvest' Cuttlebug embossing folder in the background:

Top of the box with bling:

The inside of the box is the best bit becuase it opens up to reveal.......Yummy treats!!!:

I hope you have enjoyed my post. Think I am going to go and enjoy some of those treats now.....!

Cupcake Inspirations with Hooked on Craft!

I love cupcakes so when I found a card making blog called Cupcake Inspirations I was very excited! The inspiration for their challenges comes from pictures of delicious looking cupcakes; yummy! I have also made this card for the latest challenge at Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog where the theme is 'Celebrate All The Colors of Fall' and I am quite happy with how it turned out. I adore flowers so I have randomly covered the whole card with pretty flowers and bling. The gorgeous stamp I have used is from a fun new Australian company called Hooked on Craft and I have used one of my favourite stamps which can be purchased here. How cute is the butterfly bear holding a flower? I love him!
Now, please excuse me, I am off to eat a cupcake!

Make It Christmas with Kenny K!

I have made this card for this week's challenge at Kenny K where the theme is "Make It Christmas". Christmas is my favourite time of year and I am very excited that it is just around the corner. Kenny K has new digis out especially for Christmas and when I saw them I knew I had to have them! This saucy lady is called 'Xmas Hottie' and she can be purchased from Kenny K Downloads. I have coloured her with copics and, as always, have used stickles for added sparkle! The backgound of my card is actually fabric, not paper. I simply cut some fabric and glued it onto the back. I have wanted to try using fabric on a card background for a while and I am quite happy with how it turned out.

Haunted House with Hooked on Craft Stamps and Copics!

Hello everyone!
I spent last weekend playing with my cricut and my new cartridge; 'Happy Hauntings'! Here in Australia we don't really celebrate Halloween, but I love all cool and cute Halloween stuff. I decided to make a 3D Haunted House using 'Happy Hauntings'. I also used 'October 31st' and 'Mini Monsters' cricut cartridges for some added detail. As always I wanted to add some cuteness so I decorated the house with Hooked on Craft stamps which I coloured with my copics (as always!). Hooked on Craft has awesome Halloween stamps! I put a little tealight candle inside the house to make the orange windows glow spookily! The whole thing took ages to make but I think it was worth it. I had a lot of fun (....and a little bit of frustration!) in putting this together. I really hope you enjoy this post and please let me know what you think!

I am entering this into the following awesome challenges:

- Copic Oz "All together spooky". Copic Oz is an awesome blog site to get more information on copic techniques.
- iCopic Lover "Black Orange and Purple". icopic Lover is another cool copic blog!
- Copic Creations. "Orange". This is another great site that I found. The design team's copic colourings are great.
- Stamp Something "Something Punchy". Another cool blog! I love my Martha Stewart puches so I have used the awesome "Iron Fence" punch.

Here is the haunted house from the front:

Here are some close ups of the stamps which are coloured with copic markers.

This stamp is Bat Bear (H-0007 Halloween Bears Small) and he is perched on the roof on his glittery web; ready to fly down and scare at a moments notice!:

This is Bear Dracular (H-0008 Halloween Bears Small) who wants to suck your blood!:

This is cute little Bear with a couldron, cooking up a spooky poisonous potion for you! (H-0011 Halloween Bears Small):

This is a cute little Ghost coming out of the chimney (H-0005 Ghosts). I found him the most challenging to colour with my copics because he is mostly white, so I used blue and grey tones to give him a bit of dimension:

Close up of the spooky grave with a mysterious hand! Who's creepy hand could it be?! I hope it is not coming out of the grave!! Eeeekkkk!:

Here are some more pictures of around the house from different angles:

Enjoy!

Double Pouch Bag and Matching Card

This post is a little different! I have created a double pouch bag and matching card for the challenge at Christmas Stampin' All Year Long. I loved this challenge becuase it made me try something I have never done before; a bag! I love Christmas and I adore Gingerbread Men so used them on my bag and card. My gorgeous gingy men stamps are from Hooked on Craft and I used C-0009 Gingy on my card and C-0012 Gingy on my bag. How cute is the gingerbread man sitting on the marshmellow? I have put them both on tags to keep in with the Christmas spirit! I have also used cute little gingerbread men glass pebbles and my Martha Stewart gingerbread man border punch. The tutorial for how to make a double pouch bag can be found here. Please let me know what you think!

Here is the bag and card set together:

The stamps are made of high quality clear polymer and the designs are gorgeous. They are fantastic to colour with copics too. I am thrilled that I have been chosen to be on the blog design team! Check out the new blog too; Hooked on Craft.

One of my favourite themes is Halloween and Hooked on Craft has a gorgeous set of Halloween Cats. For this card I have used H-0018 Halloween Cats Large. I have coloured this cute stamp in with copics and I have used sparkly glitter paper for my night sky!
