Fluttering In Blue And Green!

Here is a card I have made using one of the cuties from The Greeting Farm called 'flutter anya' and I coloured her with watercolour pencils. Normally I use Copics but I thought I would have a play with watercolours! I cut out the base of my card with my Cricut and I cut the circular papers out with Spellbinders. My sentiment is from Just Rite Stamps. I finished my card with some feathers, bling and stickles glitter glue!

Birthday Blues!

Here is a birthday card I have made for a male. I find it so difficult to make cards for men becuase I love covering my cards with lots of embellishments (especially pretty flowers!). I had a go and here is what I have come up with. My stamp is one of the cuties from The Greeting Farm (*sigh!* how I love The Greeting Farm stamps!) and he is from the 'my guy Ian' set. I have coloured him with copics and added some sparkly spicas as well (I could not make a card without some form of sparkle!). I used a Martha Stewart punch-around-the-page for my background paper and added some metalic 'masculine-looking' brads to the papers as well.

She Who Wears The Crown!

I have had lots of card making mo-jo this weekend; yay for me! Here is an easel-style card I have made using a Princess theme with blue and green tones. My stamp is "Princess Anya" from The Greeting Farm and I have coloured her with copics and added some sparkly glitter to her crown and star wand. My gorgeous 'bud and bow' ribbon and small bow are from Hooked On Craft. The small bow and all the flowers have all been spritzed with Glimmer Mist (of course!). I love the two-toned effect I got on some of the flowers. To get these colours I used Glimmer Mist in 'honey dew mist', 'pop rocks', 'fully purple' and 'spring rain'. I cut the crown (on the base of my easel card) out on my Cricut using 'once upon a princess' cartridge and added glitter and bling.

Pretty Little Dee Dee In Pink!

Here is a Birthday card I have made using a gorgeous little lady named "Dee Dee" from The Greeting Farm. I have coloured her with copics and added glossy accents to highlight her bows, boots and part of her clothing. This is my first attempt at colouring darker skin with copics and although I am not completely happy with my colouring I still think she is pretty darn cute! My tag was cut out on my Cricut using 'tags, bags, boxes and more' cartridge and my embossed sentiment is a stamp from Hooked On Craft. My flowers are all from Hooked On Craft also and I sprayed them with Glimmer Mist in 'black cherry', 'strawberry shortcake', 'black magic', and 'dazzling diamonds', and I added a touch of Stickles. I love Hooked On Craft's teeny tiny little flowers (on my tag); I have never seen flowers so small and they are perfect for little areas that need a little something!

Blonde and Blue For Karen!

Here is a card I have made for my friend Karen for her Birthday on Sunday. She loves blue so I have done a blue theme with a bit of brown for contrast. My very sweet stamp is from the "Miss Anya Collection" by The Greeting Farm; isn't she so pretty and sweet? I have coloured her with copics and added some glossy accents (glossy accents is yet another craft item I am obsessed with!). I have used glitter core-dinations paper in the background and embossed it with my cuttlebug. I love core-dinations paper, and their glitter paper is so sparkly! I have embossed my sentiment with Zing embossing powder in Copper glitter finish. My flowers and leaves are from Hooked on Craft and I could not resist spritzing them with a dash of Glimmer Mist (yes I am still obsessed with Glimmer Mist!) in bubbles, peacock, bronze, and dazzling diamonds. My leaves were originally white but I made them two-toned by giving them a spray of Glimmer Mist as well. The paper I used behind my Anya stamp is.....yes, you guessed it, glimmer misted too! I also added a touch of Stickles to my flowers in cinnamon, copper, waterfall and crystal for added sparkle!

Flowers, Flowers, Flowers!

Here is a sweet easel-style card I have made using The Greeting Farm's 'Dahlia'. I just love her! I have coloured her with watercoloured pencils and highlighted parts of the stamp using glossy accents to really make the image 'pop' (I am loving glossy accents and seem to be using it all the time now!). I love flowers, bling and pearls so I have used heaps of them for this card. For the dark blue background I have used core'dinations paper which I embossed then lightly sanded it back to make the embossing stand out. I also finally pulled out my sewing machine and had a go at stitching! (the green panels are stitched). For my bow in the corner I tied it using the 'bow easy'.

Ticked Pink Stamps Monthly Sketch Challenge #5

I have made this card for this month's sketch challenge at Tickled Pink Stamps Monthly Sketch Challenge. I love Tickled Pink Stamps! They are an Australian company and their prices are awesome. In this card I have used a gorgeous girl from The Greeting Farm and she is from a set called "Sweet n' Toxic". I purchased the set from Tickled Pink Stamps.
I wanted to make something different for this sketch challenge, while of course sticking to the sketch. I decided to make my background 'panel' using flowers instead of the usual paper. I also put cute little handmade fimo faces in my flowers to give them 'personality'!!! I hope you like my card, let me know what you think!

Tickled Pink Stamps Monthly Challenge

I have made this card for the sketch challenge at Tickled Pink Stamps Monthly Sketch Challenge. I have never made a round card before so this was something new for me to try! This cute little lady is 'Tuesday' from the 'Creeper Crew' series of stamps from The Greeting Farm. She seems a little bit moody in her cute little tutu and boots so I thought I would use black, grey and pink colours. She can be purchased in Australia from Tickled Pink Stamps.
