Frog Prince!

It is time again for another fun challenge at The Craft Garden! Our challenge this month is a beautiful picture of Monets Garden. For my project this month I was inspired by all the green and the lilys in the water. It made me think of frogs on lily pads so I came up with a frog Prince card! To create my card I used my Cricut machine and 'create a critter' cartridge. My flowers are from Hooked On Craft.

Vintage Bookmark!

We are now onto another challenge at The Craft Garden and our challenge is to be inspired by this picture:

I was inspired by the vinatge theme of the picture so I decided to make a bookmark featuring vintage paper. I embossed the edges of my bookmark with gold embossing powder and also embossed a sentiment and some butterlies. I finished my vintage bookmark off with antique looking seam binding.

Bear On A Present!

Happy New Year everyone! Hope you all have a wonderful, happy and safe new year!
It is time for another challenge at The Craft Garden and our challenge this month is 'at least 50% red'. I have made a card for a 1st birthday featuring a cute bear sitting on top of a big red present. My bear is a 'tear bear' and I made it with mulbury paper using a pattern from The Beary Scrap. This was the first tear bear I have made and it was so much fun, I can't wait to make more of these cuties!
Come on over to The Craft Garden and play with our 'red' challenge!
