Santa Scroll Tags!

I just love Christmas, it is such a great time to get creative and I love giving friends hand made gifts! Here I have made some Christmas tags to go with some Christmas cookies. I used my Cricut (love my pink Cricut!) and cut out cute Santa and his scroll using my 'Christmas cheer' cartridge and added some glitter to his hat and beard and put a little bling on the end of his hat. I inked the edges of the scrolls with distress ink and stamped individual initials onto the scrolls (I used the first letter of people's names who I am giving the tags too). Then I used my 'winter frolic' cartridge to cut out the tag itself. I stuck my tags to little containers filled with home-made cookies to give away as gifts to friends.

I have a top tip!; at Christmas time it is hard to come up with multiple designs for Christmas cards to send to friends, so I just make one design and repeat it for all the cards I need to make. I usually vary the stamps and colours that I use but the design layout is the same for all my Christmas cards making the process of hand making all your Christmas cards a lot easier and much less stressful!

    Wow! What gorgeous tags! :) Using die cuts makes things so much simpler and funner! :) Fabulous tip, too! That way, you do the same thing, but still personalize with different colors!!! Happy holidays! :)
